This is a great day for the 49ers. They just picked up two of the best offensive linemen in the draft. Mike Iupati will be a stud at the Guard position.
The 49ers trade for Anthony Davis

The 49ers traded their 13th overall pick and a 113th selection to the Denver Broncos. They used this pick to select. Anthony Davis. This is a great pick. Davis will come in and start this year. I’m not sure why they decided to jump the Miami Dolphins but either way this is a great pick. The 49ers got better with their first pick.
Tim Tebow and The 49ers; A Match Made in Heaven?
[picappgallerysingle id="7664584"]
Since the end of the college bowl games, the media has been going crazy over Tim Tebow. Will he be a first rounder? Will his skills translate to the NFL? What about his mechanics, can he change them?
All these questions are legit, but I hope they don’t scare the 49ers away if they have a chance to pick up one of the greatest college quarterbacks of all time. Here are three reasons it shouldn’t scare them.

49ers’ Draft Board 2010
[picappgallerysingle id="8124217"]
Tomorrow is a huge day for the 49ers organization. It’s the day where the team becomes great or they invest millions into player that wont work out. It’s the day Trent Ballike auditions for the 49ers full time GM position. Tomorrow is the day where dreams are made and dynasties are built. Tomorrow is the NFL Draft.
In honor of the draft I’ve put together a draft board that the 49ers should follow. This isn’t the order that the players will be taken. This is a ranking of players the 49ers should draft.

49ers: Holes and How to Fill Them
[picappgallerysingle id="7452523"]
Not having a collective bargaining agreement or CBA between the Players and ledge has changed free agency. The most notable change is the extension of the restricted free agent tag. A restricted free agent can sign with any team but their original can either match the deal or the team that signs the player would have to compensate the original team with a draft pick. So a restricted free agent isn’t really a free agent, they are more like trade bait. When the CBA was active, a player would only be a RFA(Restricted Free Agent) if they had less then three years of playing in the NFL. Now without the CBA, a player will be a RFA until they have six years of experience. To sum it all up the lack of a CBA makes it really hard for a team to acquire a young player without paying a ridiculous price for them.
This explains why outside of signing David Carr the 49ers have been almost inactive in free agency this off-season. It probably will stay this way until after the draft. At that time the 49ers will look to fill holes on their roster by kicking the tires on some older veterans.
Here’s a group of guys who would do a good job filling those holes that the 49ers might still have after the draft.
