How the heck did the Chargers just give away Antonio Cromartie?

Heres the break down.

The Jets get Probowler Antonio Cromartie

The Chargers get a 2011 conditional pick. Its going to be a 2nd or a 3rd based on how Cromartie plays.

I am just wondering how the 49ers weren’t even in the conversation for Cromartie. I mean how likely is it that a player that good at a need position is going to be around in the third round? I get that we have two picks in the first round this year, that will help is out in a few years, but we have a chance to go deep in the playoffs, and were not going to San Diego’s fire sale.

I just don’t get it.

I hope we talk to Jamal Williams. He could be a great compliment to Aubrayo Franklin.
